Diving on Marettimo: Cathedral grotto and Secca San Simone

Treat yourself to two of the most amazing and exciting scuba dives in the Aegadian Islands! Head to the island of Marettimo and do a dive to explore the Cathedral cave which stretches for about 100 metres and is located on the sandy seabed at a depth of 29 metres.
A particularly beautiful and fascinating dive due to the rows of stalactites, stalagmites and columns that force you to zigzag between them. It is, however, also a challenging dive due to the frequent currents.
Continue your adventure by diving on the Secca di San Simone, located just opposite the town of Marettimo. This is a shoal with an area full of seagrass at a depth of 18 metres, which leads to a wall beneath it, split by large cracks.
You will then come to a huge pinnacle, parallel to the wall, rising up metres from the sandy seabed at a depth of 40 metres, which you can swim around by letting yourself be carried away by the gentle current.
