Get ready for a fantastic tour by jeep to discover ancient civilisations that have left clear traces in the inland areas of one of Sardinia’s most beautiful regions: Gallura.
Drive to the Foce del Liscia by jeep and from here continue on a dirt track that will take you to Arzachena and one of Sardinia’s most important archaeological parks. Visit the Megalithic Tombs of Li Lolghi, best known as the Giants’ Graves.
Head off for the wine region of Capichera, where you can relax while enjoying carasau bread and fresh cheese, paired with excellent Vermentino wine. Continue on foot along a path through the forest to admire the Nuragic Village, La Prisjona, an archaeological area that includes the nuraghe complex and the village of huts around it.
Followed by lunch based on local products at a farm where cattle are reared and the prized yellow granite is processed.
In the afternoon, continue your tour of Gallura to the Santuario Campestre, and then return to the resort along the western side that leads from Luogosanto to the small town of Bassacutena.
