On 27 March, during the eighth edition of Mangia’s Academy, the conference “The new era of Hospitality: where tradition meets innovation” was held at Mangia’s Torre del Barone Resort in Sciacca (AG, Sicily), which will reopen as a 5-star resort for the 2023 season.
Special guests from the world of gourmet cuisine participated in the event, including Maestri Pasticcieri Iginio Massari and Nicola Fiasconaro, chefs Peppe Giuffrè, Marcello Zaccaria and Vittorio Santoro (founder of CAST Alimenti, the chef training school partnered with Mangia’s), guided in demonstrations and discussions by television presenter Giusi Battaglia. Together with Marcello Mangia, Presidente e CEO di Mangia’s, plus Rudy Zerbi in video call, between show cooking and speeches, the guests launched a new type of hospitality training. This marked the end of the the annual Mangia’s Academy, the advanced training programme for 400 employees of the Group.
