Unknown Sardinia
Unknown Sardinia
Go on an excursion that will make you discover the true unknown Sardinia!
After crossing a magnificent landscape you will arrive in Nuoro, capital of Barbagia, where you will visit the Ethnographic Museum, an ancient pastoral house of 1700 where you can admire about 7000 finds. The tour continues towards Orgosolo, a typical club of Barbagia, which offers all its visitors a particular image of Sardinia. You will have free time to walk and admire the murals that cover the facades of the houses. You will stop for lunch with the shepherds, where you will taste the typical Sardinian dishes: among these the famous "purceddu" (roasted suckling pig) and the traditional "sheep in coat", all accompanied by a good Sardinian wine and folk songs at will.
In the afternoon, through a small forest of wild eucalyptus, you will arrive at the karst spring of Su Gologone, one of the most famous and evocative springs of Sardinia, located at the foot of the spectacular Supramonte di Oliena. After the wonderful "digestive" walk at the springs, it is planned to return to the club.
