Guide to the booking engine for trade
If you have worked with us before and your general details have, therefore, already been entered in our records, you can write to email@example.com to obtain your credentials.
If you have never worked with us before, you must create a customer code in the general data records, so please send your complete details, including your license, VAT number and electronic data interchange code (SDI) to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will then send your credentials; it normally takes up to a couple of days for them to become operational.
- Once you have accessed the website, you can view the rates net of your commission by clicking on the Agencies button.
- Log in login by entering the username and password with you have been provided.
- You can now view the availability in real time with net rates (in green and black) and the relevant rates for the public “crossed-out” (in red).

Do I have to collect the local tourist tax via the agency?
Unlike in the past, the local tourist tax should always be collected from the customer since it will be included in the invoice.
I still haven’t received my credentials, what should I do?

I have the credentials, but I can’t log in
You currently need to start from the mangias.com website https://mangias.com/mangias-for-travel-agencies/, by clicking on the “Booking engine for Trade” button. In the future, the agency button will be directly available from the home page of the mangias.com website.
Sometimes access is denied because there is one too many blank spaces; there should be no blank spaces. Another reason could be that you are using old credentials; all the credentials have changed this year; if you did not receive the new ones write to us at firstname.lastname@example.org, new credentials always include a 9-digit number as the password. If you still can’t log in, your browser may have stored outdated information in which case return to the home page and press Ctrl + F5 to clear the cache and then, follow the steps indicated above.
Are the rates net or gross?
The rates are always net of your commission and the rate for the public is shown in red and crossed out. When there are children in the room, the net rate may not exactly match the gross rate minus your commission, if this happens, the net rate always takes precedence and is always correct.
I tried logging in with my credentials, then into the public site to make a comparison and I see that the commission is also applied on the public site.
It’s due to the cache, if you logged in with your credentials and then, went to the public site, the computer stores the credentials you used previously and still applies the fee. We recommend that you avoid entering the public site at all; the rates for the public are still visible in red and crossed out, but if you still feel it is necessary, you should use another browser, for example Mozilla if you have been using Chrome with your credentials. We recommend periodically clearing your browser cache by pressing Ctrl + F5.
What kinds of rates are there on the booking engine?
At present, basically room and breakfast and full board; in some facilities, room and breakfast only. Normally, a cheaper non-refundable rate and slightly more expensive rate allowing cancellation are available.
Why is only room and breakfast offered at the Favignana Resort?
This is a specific marketing choice; half board is still available and you can request the additional meal at the address email@example.com. Remember, however, that the extras available on the site are always subject to commission.
What are the terms and conditions of sale?
The cancellation and payment policy are outlined by clicking under “the rate includes”; the wording may “cancellation not available” or “can be cancelled 5 days before arrival”, for example. Generally speaking, the rate that cannot be cancelled is discounted from the flexible rate and must be prepaid in full, the other should normally be paid 14 days before arrival unless otherwise indicated.
What payment methods are available?
Currently, bank transfer or credit card. If the payment is made by bank transfer, the full amount must be paid within 72 hours, even in the event of a flexible rate, in which case flexible cancellation terms are, of course, maintained. If there are less than 14 days from the date of the stay, the full amount will still be charged. If there are less than 5 days before the date of the stay, it is not possible to pay by bank transfer, only by credit card.
When I am in the shopping cart, do I have to fill in all the details (address, phone etc.)?
Yes, the rest of the data, apart from the customer’s name, are the ones for your agency including your email address which is where the voucher will be sent.
When will I receive the voucher?
The voucher is immediately sent to the email address you entered when booking; if you don’t receive it, check your spam. You can, however, always issue a presentation voucher yourself by indicating the confirmation number. Of course, for the voucher to be valid, the full amount of the stay must have been paid in full. The voucher currently shows net rates, so you need to take off the part referring to the rate before handing it to the customer.
I am not receiving special offer from your DEM (direct email marketing) campaigns, what should I do?
The email contact address we have in the general data records is probably wrong or it is a personal email address, so our DEM is not read by all the vendors in the agency. Please send a generic email to firstname.lastname@example.org that can be read by all parties involved and we will change the general data record.
What do I do if I have a special request, such as transfers, excursions or an additional meal?
