Whistleblowing Procedure
We would like to briefly clarify the fundamental role in promoting transparency and ethics within our company.
Whistleblowing is a tool identified by the OECD for years to facilitate reporting by staff and company stakeholders to highlight issues and concerns directly to the Board. In Europe, Directive 2019/1937 (transposed in Italy by Legislative Decree No. 24 of March 10, 2023) introduced the obligation for companies to implement a whistleblowing approach.
In our company, the whistleblowing platform has been implemented with the objective not only to comply with the regulations but, above all, to integrate it within our sustainability and responsibility strategy.
The platform allows all our employees and stakeholders to have a secure and confidential channel through which to report any illegal behavior, regulatory violations, or situations contrary to our company values, responsible business conduct policy, and Code of Ethics. This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to ensuring a corporate culture based on integrity, honesty, and respect for current laws and regulations.
We want to emphasize the importance of this tool in creating a safe and responsible working environment, where everyone feels encouraged to report misconduct without fear of retaliation or discrimination.
