Etna and Taormina
Starting from the resort, we take the highway to Catania and then a panoramic road that climbs along the slopes of the volcano, until reaching about 1,900m, where you can walk along the area of the Monti Silvestri, where the traces of recent lava flows are visible.
You will have free time to climb up to about 2,800m, walkable or, for a surcharge, by cable car or off-road.
We stop for lunch in a restaurant and, later, departure towards the beautiful Taormina: a famous Sicilian tourist resort, known for its beauty.
Paying a supplement, you can discover the most important ancient monument of Taormina, the Greek-Roman Theatre and then you will have free time to walk along the typical streets and buy typical Sicilian products!
We’ll be back at the resort later tonight for dinner.
