Excursion to Bonifacio/Corsica
Discover Bonifacio, a small medieval town located at the southern end of Corsica, overlooking the Strait of Bonifacio, the Islands and the rocks.
You will be taken by bus to the port of Santa Teresa Gallura, where the ferry will be waiting to take you to Bonifacio.
Upon arrival, you will walk through the picturesque medieval town before boarding a small train to visit the historic centre, located at the most southern point of the island, overlooks the Strait of Bonifacio.
Here, you will have the opportunity to see the exterior of the bastions, the magnificent gardens, ancient towers and the Scalinata del Re d’Aragona. In addition, the train will accompany you to the port to embark upon a fantastic excursion at sea, where you can admire the famous Bocche di Bonifacio, the Marine Caves of Sdragonato and St.
Antonio, the Inlets of Fazio and Paraguano, and the old fortified town. After this, we will return to the port of Bonifacio for lunch in a typical restaurant and, subsequently, you will have free time to walk around.
Then we will return to the ferry and sail back to the port of Santa Teresa di Gallura, where the bus will be ready to take you back to the hotel.
