Hilton (NYSE: HLT) has revealed plans to open a spectacular hotel on Sardinia’s northern coast, following a franchise agreement with Hotel Investment Partners (HIP), Blackstone’s hotel investment platform, and Mangia’s Resorts, one of the leading hotel management companies across Sicily and Sardinia. The 199 guest-room hotel,Mangia’s Santa Teresa Sardinia, Curio Collection by Hilton, will also be operated by Mangia’s Resorts. While currently operational following an extensive 12 million Euro renovation programme, the property will fully rebrand to Curio Collection by Hilton before the 2024 season, joining five hotels trading under the brand in Italy.

Nestled along the pristine shores of Santa Reparata Bay, Mangia’s Santa Teresa Sardinia, Curio Collection by Hilton, will offer access to a private beach with beds exclusively for hotel guests. From here, guests will be able to take advantage of a variety of watersports, including standup paddleboarding and canoeing. Getting some time on the open water, guests will be able to appreciate the beauty of Sardinia’s coastline.
Of the hotel’s 199 guest rooms, half will include a balcony or private outdoor patio, while many will also have sea views. Neutral, sandy designs echo Sardinia’s beaches while natural rope and wood textures will call to the natural landscape. Linked by stairways, arches and covered walkways, guests will be able to stroll between the resort’s exceptional amenities, including two outdoor swimming pools, a tennis court, gym and wellness area with four treatments rooms.
Featuring two restaurants and a bar, guests will be able to choose between a light bite by the pool or an indulgent meal with their loved ones. The hotel’s signature Italian restaurant, Donna Floriana, will offer an intimate dining experience, where fresh fish will be served in both traditional and inventive Italian recipes. International cuisines will be served at the hotel’s buffet restaurant, Perseo, while Lime, the hotel’s pool bar with panoramic views, will be the perfect place to grab a refreshing drink between laps.
Located near Santa Teresa di Gallura, there are no shortages of opportunities for guests to explore beyond the hotel, including hiking trails in Capo Testa and, further afield, beautiful towns like Bosa with its pastel-coloured houses.
